Description:

We are currently accepting applications for an experienced Finance Manager who will manage a staff of seven and is responsible for planning and directing the Finance and Custer Service Departments and oversees the financial and utility billing functions of the District.
The Finance Manager will be responsible for the Annual budget, general ledger accounting, debt management/bonds, payroll, utility billing, and other accounting functions; along with current projects and annual initiatives.
Manages the direct delivery of on-going services and programs to include: Financial statements and reporting, budgeting, payroll, accounting internal controls, cost analysis, accounts payable and receivables, utility billing, and annual auditing under Washington State Auditor’s Office.

Primary Duties

The Finance Manager manages a staff of 7. The position is responsible for planning and directing the Finance and Customer Service Departments and oversees the financial and utility billing functions of the District

• Accounts Payable & Receivables
• Accounting Internal Controls

Qualifications

-Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration or applicable discipline
-Experience in Management and Supervisory roles
-Experience in Annual Budgeting and Financial Reporting

Desirable Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proficiency in Government accounting, auditing, and financial procedures and standards; Principals and practices of public sector personnel administration; Skilled in Microsoft Office Product, financial software, utility billing and archival software; Professional communication and interpersonal skills; Solid technical writing; Multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
