Description:
The City of Kent is looking for its next Tax Auditor. The successful candidate will have the education and experience to independently perform audits of the various taxes that the City collects, including Business & Occupation, gambling, admissions, and utility taxes.
Educating and outreach are also important aspects of this position as the incumbent will work in collaboration with the business community and City management to identify opportunities to minimize the administrative burden associated with filing and remitting tax. A high level of integrity and honesty, as well as excellent customer service skills, are essential to success in this role.
